After graduating from South Dakota State University, Troy and his wife, Shauna, moved to Sioux Falls in 1988. They have four adult children. Troy enjoys time with his granddaughter Isla, family, fishing, the outdoors, and all sports. He has served as a Board Member and Committee Chair at Volunteers of America and serves at his church.
